Paraphrase: It can be hurtful when something new fails... there is a maturity needed to keep taking risks. "Maybe it's not 'failure,' but just experimenting." "If you haven't come to that church in 200 years, chances are you're not going to come next week." :) But a new faith community is something new people might try.
