Small Groups.com
The mission of the Small Group Network at SmallGroups.com is “to build a network of individuals, churches, publishers, and other resources to provide ongoing training and support for small group leaders and small group directors. We want to equip small group leadership to make disciples and strengthen disciples into disciplemakers.”
At SmallGroups.com, our strategy has been to attract Pastors, Small Group Directors, Small Group Leaders, and Small Group Resource Providers to become members of the Small Group Network. A membership fee is charged for a password that allows full access to everything at the SmallGroups.com site. As of October, 2000, any individual who becomes a member of the Small Group Network is also entitled to share the resources of SmallGroups.com with up to 12 other group leaders in their local church or organization. This means a membership at SmallGroups.com is also a church membership.
As part of that strategy, one of our key needs is to develop collaborative arrangements with Small Group ministry resource providers. Our core competency has not been the development of curriculum or providing of local small group leader training seminars or conferences. SmallGroups.com was founded to support and supplement the efforts of those resource providers who do provide local small group leader training seminars.
